Kitty Pattern!

So this week we had to put a pattern on a animal....and I think kitties are adorable! So  it got a adorable pattern, with flowers and birds.

Overall I love this piece, though on the right side the pattern doesn't shape well with the body. But I love the color on it, especially on the face.

This wasn't very difficult to make, the hardest thing to do is get the pattern to shape to the body the way you want it to..... but otherwise it's pretty easy and fun! .....

Many of Meh!

Overall I'm not thrilled with the piece, some of the shadows are off and there are some problems with the picture as a whole, but I think it turned out OK.

If I were to do this again....I'd probably take better pictures of myself cause I don't like any of these. I would also do better shadowing and find a way to just improve the picture quality.

The most difficult part was trying to get the background to match, some of the backgrounds were lighter than the others and that made it more difficult to put all the pictures together.  But overall, it wasn't very difficult to create.

Frog for Tongue...

Overall I like the piece, I think that the texture of the frog looks pretty good. The tongue is long, but I guess this could be the guy from KISS.

I think the piece is pretty successful all things considered. However, I don't like the shadow of the frog and the left arm looks funky.

If I were to do this project again I would shade the frog and make it just a tad bit shorter, but besides that, I love the way my Frog for Tongue turned out.

Angry Pancakes!!!!

So our first project was to make a angry pancake! Overall, I'm not very happy with it, it doesn't look realistic and the fact that the mouth cuts off a raspberry annoys me. However, I think its pretty good for my first time using Photoshop.

I think the piece isn't very successful overall, I like the top half of the photo and how the pancake has a cute red nose in between two symmetrical eyes, but the bottom half is messy.

What worked in this project is putting the mouth and pancake together, the process of making it went pretty well, however it was difficult to blow out the pancake so the mouth could fit, what doesn't work in this picture is the color of the mouth and the mouth's placement on the pancake.

If I was to do this project again I would move the mouth over to the left and make the pancake layer over the mouth bigger, and defiantly change the color of the mouth.
