Bad Mail, day 10 of 10!

soooo...I'm done :) we had to make "bad mail" so... you got mail! is a devil in a box. bad as you can get it, don't let him eat your soul.

Day 9 of 10

this time we had to make a "scarey" sign. so i made a sign with sign language sign on it. it says "D E A T H" teehee...death, deaf....not really funny.... well anyways hope you like it.

Cougaroo
Day 7, we had a lot of freedom with this, so I took some old frames of a kangaroo jumping and put a cougar head on it. not my best work xD but it's cute

The 6th day

we had to motion blur stuff so it looked like it was moving....but not. I did a eel. teehee. eel.

Day 5!!!

we had to put body parts where they don't belong and make it pg-13. I did a guy with a eye that's too low, teeth on the side of his face, and a hand for hair. I guess its pretty successful. It's pretty much just combining pictures, pretty simple Photoshop stuff

So I've recently become obsessed with Kurilian Bobtail cats, this is a picture of a bobcat kitten, this for day 4 of the 12 day thing we're doing in class. it's a day late cause I went home early yesterday. Isn't it cute?

TwiDark

So we had to make a punny photo for day 3. This was just the first thing that came to mind. It's twilight but twidark and the character is that guy from dark shadows. hahahaha its so funny... but yeaaa....he holding a apple and stuff. prettyful

Day 2

Day 2 we had to take a disney or pixar character and give them the superpowers you want. Soooooo I was excited at first but this project took way longer than I thought it was. it looks ok I guess...could be a lot better. Its Aurora (sleeping beauty) with wonder woman's powers and powerpuff girl blossom's flying ray (the color that comes out her butt/legs when she flies)

Slice!

so for the next...i think 12 days (too lazy to look it up again) we doing one project per day. today is day 1 and we had to slice something and most of the examples my teacher showed us had something coming out of the part that was sliced. So at first I was gonna do a baby tiger coming out of a momma tiger...but then I thought... "gazelle" so the tiger ate one and now its escaping through the slice. it was sorta tricky cause you have to manipulate the background to make the gap. I think it was pretty successful though.....

Singing Cat

so this assignment was to make a animal or object sing. I did a cat. This took A LOT of time because I was a rebel, instead of just doing the basic 8 mouths (like we were supposed to) I tried drawing the girls mouth movements from the you tube video I got the song from. All 8 did end up being in there I think....I think this is pretty successful, could be better...but its nice. the cat seems to talk really fast and stuff...sometimes with the wrong mouth movements....but part of the reason behind that is because I'm horrible with flash. hope you like it

We had to make a gif where only one part of the picture is moving. I was originally going to do the cyborg eyes on my own face, but nope. didn't work out. so instead I took a pic of some random chic and the terminator robot and combined them and made this. Hope you like it

PENCIL KINGDOM!

This is pencil kingdom, a kingdom made of pencils. isn't it prettyful? I think its pretty successful, it looks bright and light and happy, I think I could have extenuated the features more but whatevers. Besides, didn't you hear? lines (stripes) are back in! 

Duck

So....started this yesterday...I'd tell you guys the date but I'm too lazy so just look at the post date. I think I did ok, but I had problems with the bill. I would write more but I've had a bad day and don't feel like it so I don't give a duck. ....wait...actually I do give a duck....here's your duck:

FLOWERS!!!!

so I'm sorta really far behind with my work because my walk cycle took FOREVER. So this was one of last week's project using adobe illustrator instead of photoshop. This was a pretty simple, easy, and quick thing to do. I think it looks pretty good, I like the warm colors.

Walk cycle!!!!

This is my walk cycle. It took like a week because first you have to draw it (everyone else had to draw 4 frames, I drew 15.) then you have to scan it onto the computer. Then afterwords you have to trace the lines and color it, this was difficult and very time consuming because the scanned pictures were pixilated. So frame after frame I had to get rid of the grey spots with the brush tool. Then I had to copy and paste some of the frames so the walk goes into a loop. hope you like it :)

MONSTER!!!!!

In this project we had to take a picture of a monster that a kindergartener gave us and make it into our own version of the monster. Mine sort of looked like a cat, but it had a punch of bumpy lines to shape the head and it had really big ears and swirly eyes and 3 triangle teeth and a circle nose and a body with squiggles in the middle and sticks for arms, but where the legs are she had colored in with blue, so I said they were pants. I kept the bumpy head, made the stick-like arms into spider-like arms, kept the big ears, the pants, the squiggles, and most of the color pallet. Then we had to incorporate it into a box design and add stuff to make it realistic. I hope the kindergartener likes her monster, chances are it looks nothing like the one on my box (my class only made the boxes not the actual ceramic monsters.)

Flowwweeeerrrrssssss
So we're sorta doing a project right now, but Mr sands said we have to make a flower brush. I had problems at first cause I was accidentally on the erase tool instead of the paint tool.... but Mr. Sands fixed it. This was really simple and REALLY quick to make. I think it looks pretty colorful and funs.

 

Then we had to (well...maybe had to....brian said I had to....he may have been lying) make our own brush or make a different brush or whatever. This is mine. It's butterflies.

These had nothing to actually do with the class...just stuff I did on my free time.

This is a Pikachu (a pokemon) I used a picture of a mouse and used liquify to change the tail and colored it.

Bubbly girl, it's a girl that I wanted to make sort of dissolve from the original picture, but instead it turned into more circular bubbly things. I think it still looks pretty good.

This is my Trippy. When I was making the Peakfest posters (in the posts below) I liked making the girl all colorful and weird. So I took a picture of a girl and added patterns and colors and junk, she looks trippy so I named her Trippy.

Typography

Our assignment was to use one word and at least two colors and make a image out of the word. The word I chose was "country" and I made it into a image of Carrie Underwood (a country singer). I think it was very successful but very time-consuming. I had trouble deciding what to make the background so I played around and decided to post them all (cause I can.).

Pika-CHUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

Our assignment: to make a stop-motion animation with sticky-notes! This is mine, Joel's, and Brian's. It's Pikachu coming out of a Masterball and using thunderbolt. It was a bit annoying to put all the stickynotes on one by one.....but besides that it was a fun project. My partners got frusterated with me cause I wanted to make it into a Riachu after we were finished....but it didn't work out so....you don't see it in the video. Enjoy!

So my minister Donnie doesn't have any hair......so I gave him a mullet. This has nothing to do with my class in the slightest. I just had some free time.

Stop Motion Animating
Soooooo we had to do stop motion animation. This was mine and my partner Joel's. We had to take a toy and move it little by little and take pictures to make a animation so its probably not the smoothest animating ever but its pretty cool. I even learned how to make lightening in photoshop and learned how to sorta use flash. I don't like flash though, and flash doesn't like me at all. It kept doing weird stuff and it was a pain in the butt. Enjoy the animating:

 We retouched this famous lady who was pretty beautiful before photoshop but looks even better after photoshop. I think it's pretty successful.
